7th May - Roddlesworth again

However, i visited an area that i've not been too before - the old manor house ruins dating from 14th Century and the Well House from the 18th Century. The Well House is padlocked shut and very dark, but i've included a photo taken at about 20seconds to show the inside - 3 springs collected here when the well house was in full use and even now you can see where the water would have arrived.
The huge bonus for me today was the fact that there where still bluebells in flower, which i manged to catch during the rain showers.
The old Well House -with the original 'well' in the foreground, you can just see the bluebells in the distance
Inside the old Well House - either side of the lions head are the original baths. You can still see the water running out though the floor
Blue bells behind the Well House
Well have to revisit this area again.
