The above two photos are from the side of Wast Water - looking West at the end of the deepest Lake within the Lake District - it was windy and cold, never mind the low cloud !
I took this photo to show a mate that I do wildlife occassionally - granted I used hte Blackhead gull in the foreground of a landscape photo ! By the way thats now sky at the top of the photo, its very low level cloud over the scree slopes of Wast Waters south shore
Regular visitors to my blog will understand me taking this photo, even in the miserable weather conditions, I had just miss a coach load of Japanese visitors tramping around here, I past them walking down hte middle of the access road !
The farmer has sheep in the field now, so maybe you can stop an odd one or three!
I hadn't stopped this white farm house before - must have been the misty conditions that showed it all to me
