9th April 11 - Helm Crag - Lake District

Early April. the sun shining, so took the day out to climb Helm Crag, the hard way eg from Dumail Rise road to the top - 300m vertical climb on very wet slippery grass - i did slip and sit in the wet marsh grass, rather unpleasant for an hour or so lol

This is where i slipped and got a rather wet bum!!! - worth it i reckon !

This is the rock at the top of Helm Crag - I did climb it!!! and yes there is a shear drop - looking over towards Helvellyn

on the return trip - think this worked quiet well
