A trip up though the lakes today - resulted in hard driving rain on both journeys - so much water in fields and roads, and Rydal River had broken its bank by 17.00 in Rydal.
And at home today the weather was warm and dry - fairly typical !!

This was taken in St Johns in the Vale - looking northwards towards Blencathra.
